Issue 23
Message from the editor-
Clubs-
A week into the World Cup and there has already been devastation to the
American and Polish teams. Both teams were shut-out (had "0" points) which makes the loses even harder. The only remedy to the way we feel is to join together: Polish, American, Canadian, and Irish, and devote all our energies to cheering not for, but against England. In the end, you'll all be glad you did:)
(just a joke, anyone who wants to cheer for England can, but do you really want to hear Marcin ranting and raving and talking badly about other teams every time there's a soccer game on?)

the
SPEEDO
6th June - 13th June
Issue 22
Message from the editor-
Welcome to the first week of the World Cup... here's a run-down (summary) of what to expect from the Polish squad (team).
Poland beat Croatia 1-0 in a warm-up match on Saturday.
'Boruc has the best chance,' goalkeeping coach Jacek Kazimierski said. After coach Pawel Janas controversially left out Liverpool keeper Jerzy Dudek, Boruc's main rival for a starting spot has been West Bromwich Albion's Tomasz Kuszczak. But Kuszczak's chances took a blow when he allowed a freak strike by Colombian goalkeeper Luis Enrique Martinez to sail over his head into the net in a friendly last week.
Poland vs. Ecuador odds

Ecuador 0.5 points 1.82
